Abythos (2006)
The four piece metal band out of Austin, is fresh off of celebrating their one year anniversary, and the release of their first EP, "Arrival Rituals". Altercate (2007)
Harlingen based band, Altercate, formed in July 2006 with former members Sterling and Lupe of Degredation, Valdris and Jaime of Carrion and Depths of Misery. With influences such as Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Bloodbath, Cannibal Corpse, Deeds of Flesh Incantation and Death, Altercate brings forth techinal death metal to the south Texas region. This interview with Altercate was conducted on April 8, 2007 after their performance in Harlingen, Texas, of which Rhode Island's Godless Rising headlined and Houston's Blaspherian also performed.
