A Tribute to Dimebag Darrell

News From MBCS

Members of the Black Circle Society will be changing the company name to ADVERSARY PRODUCTIONS. Although the name is changing, you can still count on the same quality promotion/production output expected from MBCS. The company will also be expanding and adding a new web-zine specializing solely in extreme metal. THE ADVERSARY web-zine will feature interviews, reviews, tour dates, concert galleries, and a number of other elements concerning only extreme metal. Since this will be a very new venture for us we will be searching for staff, contributors, and street team members. For more information on the open positions, feel free to write to us at info@theadversary.org With the name change, we will also be transferring our URL to www.theadversary.org. The official launch date for the new website is Saturday, January 1, 2005. Until then, feel free to sign up on our online forum at http://theadversary.org/v-web/bulletin/bb/index.php. We look forward to helping the metal community grow stronger in the next coming year.

News Updates

Just wanted to update everyone on a few things. I'll be getting back to updating the website (links, shows, etc) this week, so if I haven't posted your link yet, I will soon. Also due to limited traffic allowance and the fact that we are all really busy with our own shows, the Texas Metal Alliance website has been taken down and will be down for about a month. It will be back up and running soon, so keep an eye for that. We have show info that will be posted tonight, or go to the forum and read about it under "Extreme Texas Metal Shows".

Remember day 1 of Anti-Christ Mass is this Saturday, so make you plans to go out to Cardi's in Houston. Day 2 will be December 25. Bands scheduled to play include Braced for Nails, Panteon, Reign of Terror, Hammerwhore, and many more. Come out and support these bands as well as all the sponsors.

Extreme Texas Metal Tribute show to Dimebag
Extreme Texas Metal would like to pay tribute to the guitar god we know as Dimebag Darrell. We will be hosting a show on Saturday, January 1st @ Cardi's 9301 Bissonnet in Houston, TX...bands TBA. We would like to show our love for our fallen brother and want you to join us. Our hearts go out his family, friends and many fans. (All proceeds will be donated.) For any bands interested in playing, please contact us @ alliance@extremetexasmetal.com. Further info to be announced.

To anyone affected by last night's horrible events, you are in our thoughts and hope you find comfort in this time of sorrow. Rest in Peace Dimebag, you're fans will always remember you....

The Texas Metal Alliance

New website to launch on Monday

This website is a brand new site, apart from Extreme Texas Metal, this website is about the entire Texas Metal scene uniting together. Check back with us here on Monday night for the official release information.

Special thanks to Jessica from MBCS for enouraging me to do this, and thanks to Mars (my husband) for helping me set it up. I'd still be fustrated had you not helped me.

Interviews and Reviews

I just wanted to let everyone know that Extreme Texas Metal will not be doing any more interviews nor will we be posting new reviews for the time being. What we have up on the interview and review sections will remain there. I want to quickly thank everyone who helped us with them.
