Feb. 27 Update

Just a quick update to everyone planning on coming out to The Backroom on Sunday (Feb. 27). Vex had to cancel their appearance, but they have been replaced by Scattered Remains. Many thanks to them for filling in on short notice. Doors open at 8pm. Come out and support these bands. This will be Masochism's first performance at The Backroom, and first Austin performance with new bassist Tim 'Malydios'. San Antonion's Blessed Agony will be the first band on stage. Look foward a night of extreme metal! \m/

Interviews and Reviews

Life has poured back into ETM, and we have brought back our interviews and reviews, as well as a few other features. If you have reviews with no where to post them, feel free to send them in. Just go to our "submit" page and send them in. We'll be doing interviews again, so if you are in a band and would like to get interviewed, contact us. We are looking foward to getting to know more of you and introducing you to the many visitors that come by extremetexasmetal.com

Donations (Help keep ETM up and running)

Hails to everyone, all the regulars and all the newbies... I just wanted to take this time to ask everyone for help keeping ETM up. With all the traffic the website is already fixing to go down again in a couple days. So if you could spare anything at all, one dollar, five dollars... anything, please contact me. We find ourselves at a point where we can't put any more of our money into keeping the website up. I'm not sure how much we really need, but I'll find out soon. Back in buisness...

Welcome back to Extreme Texas Metal! The website has been down for a few weeks, which seemed like forever to us. Hopefully it will be the last time the website will be down. I'm looking foward to updating the website. There's so much that has happened.

First off, we would like to send our support out to The Adversary (formerly known as MBCS), and let them know we hope to see the zine back up and running soon. Hails to Jessica for being a great supporter of the metal scene here in Texas. \m/

Upcoming ETM shows. Don't forget we have 2 kick ass shows coming in April to Harlingen and Austin. The line up has been solidified for April 2nd's South Texas Metalfest 2 which will be held at Smiley's Ballroom - Harlingen, TX. Extreme Texas Metal, South Texas Metal Productions, and Rigor Mortis Records present: Severance, Slow Grind, Gates of Enoch, Cataglyphis, Panteon, Hammer Whore, Belligerency, Morguetology, Of Forsaken Divinity, Axe of Vengeance, and Satan Sluts. \m/ April 9 at The Backroom, Extreme Texas Metal, Rigor Mortis Records, and Noise Farm Studio proudly bring you Averse Sefira, Gates of Enoch, Vex, and Hammer Whore. This is our first ever show in Austin, and we are really looking foward to it. Both the shows have great line ups, and it's just a start to what will be a badass year Texas Metal.
